During a 7 days/7 nights trip we invite you to come and experience the bugle hunt in the most remote country in the continental U.S. This hunt accesses such extremely rugged and remote country that large bulls rarely encounter hunters in their wild habitat.

mule deer rut combo rifle hunt
During a 7 days/6 nights trip we invite you to come and experience the wilderness late mule deer hunt in the most remote country in the continental U.S. This hunt accesses such an extremely rugged and remote country that this is one of the few places in Idaho that hunters are allowed to rifle hunt mule deer bucks during their rut. These bucks come out of their haunts in search of does, which make them much more accessible to our hunters. Middle Fork Lodge is the sole outfitter for over 400 square miles of the wilderness area. lion, bobcat & wolf Hunts
A hunt combining Mountain Lion, Bobcat and Wolf in the Idaho back country is one of the premiere hunting experiences available anywhere. These are classic hunts with horses, hounds and a lot of “yahoos”. Middle Fork Lodge is situated within large wintering grounds for elk, deer, and bighorn sheep. These ungulates attract lions, wolves and bobcats to our area providing us opportunities found in very few places. big horn sheep & rocky mountain goat hunts
Middle Fork Lodge Outfitters have been providing the expertise necessary to hunt Sheep and Goat since 1963. The characteristics of these animals combined with the topography of their habitat provide the optimum challenge to those hardy souls interested in their pursuit. We spend many days scouting and preparing for your hunt long before your arrival. We utilize horses and mules to access the sheep and goat country, and then continue our hunts from roving camps with backpacks. Our day is spent glassing the slopes and moving until a trophy class Ram or Billy is spotted.
This is a 10-day hunt including everything except your sleeping bag and personal items. All sheep and goat permits in Idaho are on a lottery basis. Applications must be sent to the IdahoFish and Game Department no later than April 30. All applicants are notified of the results by June 10. We are happy to assist you with the procedures and recommended units.
