Kristin and Mark Troy embody the Middle Fork of the Salmon at its core. Both raised in Idaho, Mark grew up in a family of fishing and hunting guides and has been guiding in Idaho’s Frank Church Wilderness for nearly 4 decades as a fishing and river guide since 1981 and as a hunting guide since 1983, with a particular passion for big horn sheep. Kristin grew up in Salmon ID, where her parents were hunting outfitters, and where she and Mark raised two beautiful children, now grown, who are licensed guides themselves. The two have owned and operated their own whitewater rafting and fishing company, Idaho Adventures, for over 20 years. In addition, Kristin is the founding executive director of Lemhi Regional Land Trust, a non-profit private land conservation organization that has protected thousands of acres of land and wild habitat in the region.
